62 Nov 25 Reply Mark - I definitely should use a more descriptive title . I was trying to replicate George Orwell's dystopian book titled " 1984 " where the theme was " Big Brother is Watching You " Nov 25th
62 Nov 25 Comment Kamal - welcome to the group. I look forward to seeing your amazing images such as this one.
I love the composition and lighting in this one. The B&W treatment is very suitable - at the risk of being too picky - there appears to be a halo around the man on top. Could this be due to the camera or the treatment of the sky in PS?

Cheers

Beautiful capture - you turned a few drops of water into an artistic and creative composition. Congratulations

62 Nov 25 Comment Hi Adrian

Fantastic action shot. You can see the thinking that both the bull and the contestant are going through - they are both trying to calculate the speed and the direction they should be going in - one to escape and one to attack.

I prefer to see the content of the Original 2 version. It places the action in the context of the spectacle of a bullfight in an arena. At the risk of nitpicking - I find that being able to read the name of the contestant draws the attention to "Denis" and not the bull which is the star of these bullfights.

62 Nov 25 Comment Hi Mark - I feel you definitely captured the atmosphere of a rainy night regardless of where it is. Certainly the fact that it does seem like a location in Europe does add to the charm of the scene. I get the impression you enjoyed being out there in the rain!

I did a quick edit in Lightroom to soften the details a bit ( lowered texture and detail ).

Great picture

62 Nov 25 Comment Hi Emil - impressive image for both composition and treatment. I like the way you used leading lines as well as geometric patterns.

I also agree with applying more symmetry - in this version I cropped your B&W image to emphasize more of the road surface

62 Nov 25 Comment Hi Pete - you chose the right image for staying with a Halloween theme a bit longer. Very inspiring for me as I have grandchildren that really get into Halloween.

I felt that with lightning occurring behind the church the church itself should appear more in silhouette. These days I have been exploring the new Gemini AI tool ( Nano Banana ) that everyone is talking about. Not because I really want to use AI in my photography but just to try to understand how AI is impacting our hobby. I entered your original image and a short prompt about dramatic storm clouds and lightening flashes. Cropped the bottom a bit. This is what came out.
