Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
27 Nov 17 Comment Good removal of the cars... Not every fall produces fantastic colors but you were able to get some nice yellows and reds. I do suggest that you use Topaz - adjust - boost to increase the saturation and contrast. Also suggest cropping the right side of the image. Good job. Nov 29th
27 Nov 17 Comment Very good post processing on your image. I agree with Jon that your best final image is the original 2. Removing the top left distraction and the lamp on the right helps the image. Nice that even with all the people around, you found an image that has a pattern and your changes made it very striking. Nice job... Nov 29th
27 Nov 17 Comment Very good layered composition and the placement of the two trees in the image. These are similar to my Palousse pics so I suggest using Topaz - adjust - boost preset to add more saturation and contrast. Nov 29th
27 Nov 17 Comment Very nice flower girl image... I would also remove the slight blue at her elbow area. Also, change the yellow petals to the darker rose color and add a few more dark rose petals to the image. Good job with difficult distractions. Nov 29th

32 Nov 17 Reply Wes, she is correct there is a print of the year which is for any medal winner in a PSA International Salon - I have qualified to enter a couple of years but didn't win in either competition.
Anyway, I got an email about the GSCCC Convention in New Iberia, Louisiana... It should be a good one - all of them in Louisiana are great. We were planning to go on a trip to Louisiana this spring with our new mini-motor. We can just go to the convention too - April 19-22nd.

32 Nov 17 Reply Yes. where ever there is a GSCCC Convention, any local or otherwise photographer can register for one or all the days and enjoy the programs and even attend the meals. Not sure if they are going to have a GSCCC Convention in the spring 2018 but they are scheduling one in spring 2019.
Would love to keep you as a member of our DD group...
Think about it.

32 Nov 17 Reply I believe I used Medium Contrast and of course, I then used filter/texture/texturizer/canvas to add the texture.

32 Nov 17 Comment Wes, I agree that I don't get a lot out of the PSA Conferences - I like the GSCCC Conventions more. Sorry if a few people can cause you to give up on us - every organization has "good old boys" just stay away from them and enjoy the parts of PSA that you like. I like the DD groups and the PSA Salon competition and usually ignore the rest.
Your image is a great composition and well done. I would suggest using curves layer to make your blacks - clean blacks. I like the older edge style. Great job.

32 Nov 17 Comment Very good portrait... I suggest curves, dodge, burn and finally using Topaz detail - overall medium I to bring out more sharpness in your image. This image is a definite keeper. Nov 29th
32 Nov 17 Comment Interesting image... Would suggest darken the background by
using curves to add contrast, then add canvas texture to the model. Also, you might montage with two real model images or try a double exposure with this as the main image and add a scenic or building into her image. These are just suggestions - you need more impact. I have provided my two examples to help you understand my suggestions

32 Nov 17 Comment Love the gnarled tree look... Try selecting the tree and bottom area and darken the sky. Also burn the bottom but lighten the tree. Just suggestions Nov 29th
32 Nov 17 Comment Jose, I wouldn't change a thing with this image. Excellent portrait and very interesting background. I wouldn't worry about the face or knuckles. Your mono pic is more storytelling than the color so I prefer it. Great Job !! Nov 29th
32 Nov 17 Comment Definitely an architectural photo challenge... I suggest increasing the contrast and also selecting the sky and turning it dark. Your crop is fine with me. Our US ruins aren't as dramatic as your's. Good job. Nov 29th

41 Nov 17 Comment Nice glow image... I agree that you need to work on the bumper and wheel area - maybe change color or add lines before you use the glow effect. Very good image. Nov 30th
41 Nov 17 Comment Your fall colors are much better the ones here in the Midwest - was disappointed with Pennsylvania fall colors. Your creation has very good impact and good saturation. Very good final image. Nov 30th
41 Nov 17 Comment Very nice image for the Topaz glow effect... Topaz has some great software for creative. I wouldn't change a thing. Great image. Nov 30th
41 Nov 17 Comment Wonderful creation - the swirl is a great frame for the flower petal. Your colors are great !! Nov 30th
41 Nov 17 Comment Nice colors... I suggest using warp transform to make the music have some motion and create motion with the dancer and motion blur or liquify with different hand positions. Nov 30th

61 Nov 17 Comment Lovely young girl and her expression is priceless - wonder what she was thinking ?? You have an eye for the true story. The door design even adds to the story of her being bored !! Even her dress in that environment is great in this image. Excellent portrait !! Nov 30th
61 Nov 17 Comment Welcome to the Group... I love the portrait and the close cropping. Beautiful smile. I love props like the hat - I have quite a collections of hats, gloves, fans, jewelry because they can add something to the portrait. Like the frame too. Great job. Nov 30th
61 Nov 17 Comment Wonderful family portrait... Good job of lighting and the expressions are perfect. Good processing. Great job. Nov 30th
61 Nov 17 Comment Welcome to the Group. I have a steampunk hat but haven't found a model for it. Your model and processing was very well done. The purple hair really adds impact. Great job. Nov 30th
61 Nov 17 Comment Excellent portrait with your usual excellent post processing... Changing her outfit was good and the soft effect was very well done. Great work. Nov 30th
