27 Jul 17 Comment Good background and flipping improved the image. Good saturation, nice butterfly placement. Overall very good image. Jul 26th
27 Jul 17 Comment Beautiful nature image... Your changes and final result is good image. You know I had to try something creative with this one - I used Topaz - Simplicity - BuzSim III which makes it a little artsy and increased saturation but the Gannets aren't disturbed much. You have a great image. Jul 26th
27 Jul 17 Comment Amanda, cute idea... Suggest removing the closest foreground cupcake to show more of fireplace and main cupcake. I can tell you like fun images so you can learn to use heal, content aware and stamp tools to remove the cupcake I mentioned. Keep taking pics - hope we can share some ideas with you. Jul 26th
27 Jul 17 Comment Very nice scenic of Moab... The rock structure could be brought out more using Topaz - adjust - vibrance. The light streak couldn't be avoided. Great image.

27 Jul 17 Reply Amanda, I processed this image for PJ Salon and club competition. In the PJ - photojournalism category, you can't remove or add things to the image. Just to let you know this if you want to compete in a PSA Salon in PJ. Jul 5th

32 Jul 17 Comment Very good jumping image... Good contrast and placement. What did you cover up at top of stand and just to right above that - heal or stamp tool was used ? Have you tried using Topaz detail on horses -- it gives a texture to white horses that I like. What do you think ? I also cropped off left and little off bottom. Very good image. I will have to try the Red River paper you talked about. Jul 29th
32 Jul 17 Reply I loved fountain pens. You can still buy the bladders for the old pens from Parker. I have a couple of rosaries - should I have used one of them with the bible ?? Jul 29th
32 Jul 17 Comment Very good PJ image... Wide angle shots can be different and distorting - we have one put don't use it much. Stephen, use detail to sharpen the detail in your image. Also, use healing tool to remove the white specks on the ground, on clothes, on hair that are distracting. Then add a radial circle dark to darken the corners of your image. Good travel pictorial image. Jul 28th
32 Jul 17 Comment Very nice flower mono image... With white images, you want to bring back detail - you can use Curves layer or plug-ins like Topaz detail to do this. I like Topaz detail which will add structure and detail to the white flower as well as the gray flower. In Nik, you can use the structure and contrast sliders to create some detail. Good flower image. Jul 28th
32 Jul 17 Comment Different shot of this bird... You can darken the edges to eliminate the branches around the bird and use Topaz detail to bring out the feathers more. You have more patience for wildlife than I do. Don't give up. Jul 28th
32 Jul 17 Comment Nice profile building... I would add more contrast to sky and building. In competition, building pics can do okay but they need to be unusual or unique. Good image. Jul 28th
32 Jul 17 Comment Diana, I have to agree that cropping will help your image to draw more attention to the two subjects in the image. Very good PJ human interest image. Good conversion. Don't worry about the white of the nun - that is a plus. Very good image. Jul 28th

41 Jul 17 Comment I meant burn not dodge to the branch limbs... Jul 30th
41 Jul 17 Comment Good eye to find this gear in salvage... I agree with the smoke suggestion. I like your replacement of the right eye. Also, suggest blending in human eyes to emphasize the human face comparison. Very good job. Jul 29th
41 Jul 17 Comment Beautiful creation... You have more patience than I - isn't it wonderful what God and nature has created !! Beautiful colors and the dark green background is a plus. Good job. Jul 29th
41 Jul 17 Comment Carolyn, you have done a great job in processing your image. The lighter areas of your branches could draw the eye out of the image so I suggest dodging the bottom branch and both of the Y branch end areas. I also used a light ray to bring more attention to the dark bird - just an idea. Good job. Jul 29th
41 Jul 17 Comment Interesting transformation pattern... It certainly looks like zebras. Very good eye to use this for a transformation. Have you ever though of combining it with a true zebra face ?
Good image.

41 Jul 17 Comment Charles, welcome to the group. Very good blending of subjects... As other have said, lose the red and blue and clean up the sky. I took your final and mountain pic and used the mountain image to remove these thing talked about as well as brought more of the mountain back to the left of the bottle and top right. Don't let one image lose the effect of the other one (needed the extra mountain area). Good image. Jul 29th
41 Jul 17 Comment Very creative idea and follow-through... I suggest slight crop. Then using healing tool to change the upper tree area, lower area, and picket fence to be darker. Darken the house brick area as well as add slight brown color. By darkening the other areas, your eye is drawn more to the mushrooms which are the main subjects. Very good image. Jul 29th

61 Jul 17 Comment Beautiful old church image... I love your original image. The kaleidoscope is interesting. The overall bright center is very eye catching. Good job. Jul 29th
61 Jul 17 Comment Beautiful costume and pose... Good use of lighting. Would suggest darkening the edges of the image (vignette or otherwise). The wings suggest motions. Excellent image. Jul 29th
61 Jul 17 Comment Great model and light saber... Good processing. Great Star Wars pic. Jul 29th
61 Jul 17 Comment Good animal image... Thanks for the explanation. I also suggest a vignette. Very good image. Jul 29th
61 Jul 17 Comment Wonderful portrait !! Mono is better than color. Did you purposely not use a reflector to put some light under his hat brim ? With mono beard portraits, I like to use Topaz detail to make the beards more prominent. Also, suggest some dodging in the shadow under the brim. Good job. Jul 29th
