32 May 17 Reply Cropping that extra arm would also help.... May 23rd
32 May 17 Comment Great boxing image... Your new lens worked well in getting the height you wanted. If you image is pictorial competition, I suggest you crop out as much of the light as you can and then darken the top right corner to black. Also, dodge the boxer's face. Very good image.

32 May 17 Comment Very good image of the three boys. Good job of processing. I love the cameras now that can handle iso of 1600. I suggest cropping to eliminate the boy's face in the top right and also dodging the faces of the bottom boy. You have a very good PJ image.

32 May 17 Comment Beautiful owl portrait. You have done a very good job of processing. I suggest cropping to make it more that the eye is at the 1/3 spot and also using Topaz-detail-highlight detail strong I which will bring out a few more dark feathers but also the white ones. Topaz detail can add contrast where you don't think you need it. The gray background doesn't hurt this image... Good job !!

32 May 17 Comment Very good pose and good habitat around her. You did an excellent job of darkening the outside and keeping the girl normal. Thanks goodness for cameras that can do iso of 1600. Great job !!

32 May 17 Comment Excellent image - great composition. Would love to see the original color image. If you don't want a white border just add a gray border - they will draw the eye less. Great Job !!

61 May 17 Reply Thanks to all of you for the discussion -- I really like the blue vignette and the dark gray edging. You helped me decide on the last club print competition on one of my color prints. Now if I can only decide on the rest of them. I am in a tie for first place in Color Prints so I need a good one and I think the blue vignette portrait will really help. Thanks again for all your comments and advice.

I can always do the mono one for next club year...
