27 Apr 17 Comment Beautiful flowers... Good composition, good processing. If you are entering this in pictorial competition, you can completely change the background to black and eliminate the top unopened flower bud. In nature, you can't eliminate the top bud, but you can darken it. Very good image.

27 Apr 17 Comment Good image with more work... Good capture of a sunrise image with an interesting foreground and nice lighthouse subject. Suggest you crop in to make the lighthouse have more impact in your final image. Your foreground has good lead-in lines which are useful in your image. Also, suggest increase the saturation or vibrance to bring out a slightly more dramatic sunrise. Also, use a star effect at the top of the lighthouse (don't forget the reflection lighthouse - just change opacity). Continue looking at your image but always remember that your main center of interest needs to be big enought to draw the eye. Apr 27th
27 Apr 17 Comment Great image... Wish I could have been there. This gives me some ideas for portraits - I have ladies hats, gloves, umbrellas similar to this, and even some earring to use. Good processing. Hope you took more than one of these ladies. Great image.

27 Apr 17 Comment Great Silhouette... Our assigned competition for our camera club next year is silhouette so I have been looking into this type of photo lately. Your sunrise placement is super. I would suggest that you select the planes and bottom area and use Levels or just paint black so some of the areas don't distract. Great job.

27 Apr 17 Comment I like your final image - good composition, good contrast and interesting white flow over the iceberg piece. Blue toned images don't usually do well in competition - so mono is best... I do suggest you burn the iceburg gray areas a little extra. Very good job.

32 Apr 17 Comment Very good action image... Adding a sky did help with the image but just increasing the contrast on the background takes away the too bright background. I am sure they appreciate you taking their pics. Very good image.

32 Apr 17 Comment Good PJ image... Quite a few of our club members do street photography but I choose not to. I suggest your increase the contrast slightly. Good image.

32 Apr 17 Comment Wonderful perspective with the roof and courtyard... Good composition and processing as usual with your images. Suggest Curves - medium contrast and selecting the sky and use brightness/contrast to make the sky more dramatic. Had to use a black and white layer because the sky was turning slight blue-gray. Excellent image.

32 Apr 17 Comment Beautiful snow lit mountain... Good mountain view, good processing. I suggest cropping the foreground which already been mentioned. Also, use Curves - strong contrast to make your blacks and whites more dramatic. Very good image.

32 Apr 17 Reply The three images were taken with my Nikon D7100, 18-300mm Nikon lens - ISO 400, 40mm, f13. I was very close to the boat. I didn't have to straighten any of the buildings.

41 Apr 17 Comment Quite a creation... Did the maternity model like it ? I like your stormy scene - made me feel like home. I suggest moving the stormy area and use your lightning to emphasize your model. Great job.

41 Apr 17 Comment Very colorful image... Good idea for a reflection. I would remove the green stem on the far right and it's reflection. Great idea !!

41 Apr 17 Comment Very colorful image... This is the type of image that needs imagination - the white lights could be people or dancers. The overall looks like a Christmas Tree. Good image.

41 Apr 17 Comment Interesting combination... Had to read the explanation to understand things around the rose. I suggest lightening a little. Also, maybe more texture that will stand out more. Good job.

61 Apr 17 Comment Very cute... At that age, they are moving moving so posing is out of the question. Love the angle and your portrait. Sure the parents will love it. I like Peggy's crop and exposure correction. Good job.

61 Apr 17 Comment Cute concept... Good work from an image to a finished image. Thought it could use a scowling face to double expose in the claws - just an idea. Great job.

61 Apr 17 Comment Very intriging image... I like the pose and your processing but I think he might have looked better in front of a building wall instead of the dreaming smoky look. How did you advertise for a tatooed man ? Excellent processing and image.

61 Apr 17 Comment Interesting image... If crystals were on your mirror, how cold was the bedroom ? Very good crystal images - I like Peggy's suggest of using the Levels layer. Good image.

61 Apr 17 Comment Superb portrait !! I love his smile and also his muscles. That hat and scarf lend to his charisma. Very comfortable pose and smile. The mono and color are both excellent portraits. Great job.
