Yes I see the effect. I used PS adjustments in both levels and brightness contrast to bring out the snow. |

Yes, you raise the idea of eliminating distractions to isolate the subject. Simplicity is exactly what I was trying to achieve. Both versions work but with slightly different emphasis. Thank you!

That is certainly an interesting image with a perfect title. I like what you did to make the wooden skull stand out. You may consider removing the light color rock on the upper right edge as it distracts my attention from your subject. That was a good find 'to see' that on the beach.

You captured a very good image with a lot of backlight. The glow around her hair and clothing contreasts nicely with a very well exposed face. Keep capturing those characters that you met along the way! |
