You tried a very intersting technique. It is very difficult to get these things lined up without using a tripod. I see how you were trying to highlight the arches without distractions from the background. Very creative! |

I did raise the luminance of the blacks a bit as they were slightly crushed. It is a toss up! |

You can control your lighting and force my eyes to look at his hand, the microphone and his face. These are all artistic choices. I also like low key portraits with uncluttered backgrounds. I'd lower the luminance on the earrings to keep the light only on the front (left) side of the model. There are many posing techniques for men. Lots of room for exploration! |

This is a lovely image. Tom did exactly what I was going to do when he straightened the image. |

This image has a highy graphic nature and is very creative. It is different and stands out. I am a fan of Grevy's zebras and this image makes me smile. You left more space at the top than the bottom. When I made the space above and below about the same, I got an even better feeling. |

That is a terrific tribute to your mentor! Jack obviously inspired you to learn many new concepts and then you applied those concepts. Each of your photos is a moment that represented the memory that went in to take the photo. Behind every photo is a moment that mattered! Your story has inspired me. |
