Black and white highlights the composition. You captured the decisive moment.

Well that old lens was purchased in 1974 as my first really good lens. It was begging me to use it again.
Now I was in manual mode and it made me focus the lens and my mind on the task at hand. I wanted to feel engaged with my subject matter.
It is the fastest lens in my box!
I just wanted to have a little fun! |

I wish I'd been there too. You have created a vintage type photo from the old film days. The sun and sky are very well done. Composition works although I may wish for a bit of space around the sun. Color grading and such as personal preferences. The most succesful part of the image is the feeling.

I am dizzy already. I'd check to see if the sky wheel is perfectly vertical. Yes, I agreee it is a good idea to remove distractions from your main subject. It is a dramatic photo. |

That is a nice catch. The writing on the sign on the left leads into the other sign. People will generally read whatever is written. You did a very good job of controlling the highlights from the chrome. |

I like the colors and the composition of the image. On my screen the hand does not appear as sharp as I'd expect. A fine idea!
