The reflected lighting in the glasses draws my attention to the faces. The lighting is very soft and consistent. Christina's face is slightly brigher and draws my eyes to her. How did you create that little bit of backlight? You show very good control of external lighting.

I like the softness and colors of this image. The lines of colors in the sky work well with the crop ratio of the image. I can see a pano with an addition shot to the right.

Many colors of the kayaks as well as many angles bring this image to life. I like the progession of small to large kayaks. The perspective of the image is interesting. Very good!

Bev provided me a very good idea to make the purse and items pop. The background has been darkened and a slight increase in exposure has been added to rest of the image.
Now the background complements rather than competes for attention. Thank you! |

I appreciate your insights. During this shoot, I did try the same set up with a solid color scarf. I see how the patterns competes. I hope that the tension brings out more textures. Your point is valid.
