What a beautiful image!
All lines in the chair lead to the vase. The desaturation in the background was a very good idea which adds both separation and attention to the flowers/vase.
The quality of the light is soft. I can barely tell that it has been lite from front.
Did you change the blend mode in PS from normal to luminosity? Colors stand out.
You display great skills.

Yes! Super cute. I like what others have said. Tom did a nice job of eliminating distracting elements and drawing viewers eyes to the face.
The photo looks like you were in the sweet spot for settings for both lens and camera.
Nice work!!!

We were photgraphing these bee eaters from a small boat along the shore of the Chobe River, Botswana. The bee eaters were flying in and out of their nests built into the soil wall. We were attempting to capture the photos just as the birds entered the light. The nests were in the shadows. We were hoping to retain a dark background and a bright bird.
With many images not quite right, this one was the closest to the desired effect. |

Well you totally succeeded.
You are a PS wizard. I can see the emphais on the hands. You bring the viewer eye's to the subjects.
Very beautiful memory. |

My vote is Original 2. I prefer the warmer tones.
Your creative choice of 34 mm makes her feel distant to me. It does allow to get windows and auto in the image.

I am a fan of sepia images and like this one.
All I did was re-crop to emphasize flag, memorial and trees a pinch more.

I am not sure what to say.
When I take people photos I try to flatter my subject. But off the TV screen you have no control of lighting and such.
I also take photos off my TV. |
