Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
48 Aug 24 Reply I keep the width of the photo and did not maintain a standard crop ratio. The glow on the water is very pretty. Congrats. Aug 16th
48 Aug 24 Comment Based on all the feedback I took another shot at processing the image in monochrome. I like the OM1 Mark2 with 150-400 Pro because it can take images with very little crop. I cleaned up the background and enhanced the eyes. Aug 15th
48 Aug 24 Comment Eventhough your background is very close to the cheetah, it does jump off the page. You did a great job of processing your image. Aug 15th
48 Aug 24 Comment Welcome to Group 48!
I like the water and its glow very much. The vibrance enhanced its beauty. For me the glow in the water is the subject. Did you try a crop with about 2/3rds water and 1/3rd sky? Well done!

48 Aug 24 Reply Yes, your idea of darker background is very good. The background of the images needed improvement. I appreciate the warm welcome! Aug 3rd
48 Aug 24 Comment I used soft sepia in Siver Effex Nik Collection and did not notice this. I appreciate you pointed this out to me. Your edited image is an improvement. Thank you!

48 Aug 24 Comment I like the composition. The three heads of the gators in a line form a strong theme. The quality of the light and direction of the light make it difficult to process the image. It is difficult to take the shadows off the faces. When I am faced with this situation, I convert the image to black and white. Aug 3rd
48 Aug 24 Comment The white balance seems perfect as skin colors are very natural. The black background works very well with the red colors. The black background blends in with black background of the PSA page. Maybe a frame to emphasize subject? Aug 3rd
48 Aug 24 Comment The vertical crop works well with the vertical orienation of horse, rider and flag. The main subject has separation from the cluttered background of the original image. Nice effect of monochrome with the rider and ground and then some colors in the background! Aug 3rd
