Yes, the lotus is about to be mature. Then the lotus pod will grow with seeds. Like this photo.
The Chinese people eat lotus seed as additional to gruel, many good dishes by the lotus root. While lotus leaf can be added into medicine formula.
We have poet to praise lotus:
Coming out of the mud without being stained, Being beautiful but not being arrogant!
