Tayrah just sumed up my thoughts in a very concise way. The elements situated in the foreground and background make this photograph pleasing. A minor thought. Perhaps, enhancing the shadow areas and lowering the highlights slightly would give the sky some more texture. |

Good evening David,
Interesting shot. As soon as I saw your image I just visualised the symmetrical structures in black and white so decided how it would really look like. A quick edit on my mobile phone yielded this result. One question that perhaps cones to mind would - how was the image before sharpening? |

Hi Josh,
I love that detail of the cat's eyes. Analysing the image in further depth, I could notice the reflection of the remote umbrella. My suggestion would perhaps is to clone out the umbrella despite I usually don't mind any catch lights. But looking at the image repetitively, my eyes just keep on following the white umbrella.
Well done and it must have been a feat in keeping your cat put :) |

Hi David,
Thank you for the valid comments especially the removal of highlights from the background. The camera settings taken from the images metadata reads: f2.8, 1/160sec, ISO450, 160mm. Started using a Nikon z6ii which is a great performer in low light.
