Super easy to add a person (monk). and it would make it more interesting. I would like it both ways, however. |

I like your image just as you have converted and edited. The freckles are part of her, just like her hair or eyes. It is obvious that this is posed with professionals, or at least two who know how, and the "costumes" or period clothes are elegant and reflect the period (as most would think of it.) And I like and use the Nik Silver Efex border you have. It provides a nice soft sepia along with the border. Well done

No, I think this "softening" is too much. I prefer the one I did, above. But there are many edits that will appeal to different people such as the nice sharpening done below by Tom which is very nice and one that I would call modern. |

In the "olden days" of film cameras there were devices that one could screw onto the fromts of lensds, called filters. There were several that were called portrait filters and they would "soften" the image. This was how I learned. |

Whoops. I thought it was taken YEARS AGO. That's how my brain works. |

Yep, I've been there and this is an excellent composition. There's not a lot of contrast in the lower half, but even so, every thing seems to work. Interesting that you still have the settings for the camera after all the years. A good sign (that I wish I had.) |

You always come up with some great (and unique) subjects.....I like. Mid-tone looks fine to me as is the cropping. |
