Well, you recognized the nice arrangement/composition and captured it in a unique photograph. |

It is terrible. However, the bridge is a piece of history of the area/community, and the graffiti is too. I think it should be left in. |

Re the paper: You might composite an image that is more related to the magnet/ball. The paper is from a different world and raises the question: Why is it there? |

Good work. I was going to say something like the standard comment: More Contrast, but your selective contrast and etc., are better. |

This is a subject that I believe would have more appeal to those who have worked with such tools and on old vehicles.....mostly men, but not all men. This image is "authentic." I like the inclusion of the broken one in upper left corner. Nicely done.

Thanks, Tom. Admittedly this image appeals more to Veterans than those who hadn't served. Appreciate your comment, and Thanks for your Service.

To place this in your mind: The Golden Gate Bridge is quite a distance beyond this (to the North) just to the right of the dark fog in the center. You can see the towers from a vantage point up the hill from this point.

Your treatment (capture) of the light is excellent, and difficult, because these places can have some very dark areas. I like the grafitti on the left foreground area, too. This really preserves history. Somebody local ought to appreciate a copy.

I've done something similar and find the process and result to be very satisfying. Nice work, here.
Only suggestion and that relates to formatting: suggestion is to put a narrow border around the image. (The one I used in this month's exhibit is what I'm suggesting.) |
