32 Jul 22 Comment I didn't replace the clouds. They popped out when making a NIK adjustment. The clouds shown are as they were when photographed.

32 Jul 22 Comment I think, now, that I prefer the color version. The drawback is that this view is one of the iconic Colorado images which is seen often; and I was trying to do something different. Jul 13th

32 Jul 22 Comment The vertical alignment you did is just fine, IMO. Contrast, sharpness, and composition: Excellent. I think some of the foreground is important and how much is a question for you the maker. Just try different crops, but IMO, no foreground would not be an improvement. Jul 13th

32 Jul 22 Reply You're right, but if I do that I will not be able to enter the image (combined with another person's photo) into a serious competition.
And, over the years I have added to a folder titled "Atmospherics" so I have many that I can use.
