93 Oct 24 Comment The warm yet sharp scenery at dusk evokes a feeling of sunlight's warmth, filled with different details. In the photo, it feels like time slows down, allowing you to enjoy the sunset. When I interpret dusk, I like to incorporate the blinding effect of light into the photo, making slight adjustments to the colors and the direction of the light. This is simply my way of interpreting it, just for the reference. Sunset is always something I love. Thanks for sharing a great moment! Oct 18th
93 Oct 24 Comment What a delightful view! This kind of landscape, which seems close but actually has some distance, is hard to find in Hong Kong. That tree really looks a bit lonely, haha. This scenery is perfect for showcasing the relationship between light and shadow, and look forward to seeing it during sunrise or sunset. Good shot! Oct 18th
93 Oct 24 Reply Thanks, Paul. Am I correct that PP refers to Photo Profile? For the color layer, it is a natural color; I only enhanced it. Here is a JPEG from the camera without edits, however it cannot reflect the real scene. Oct 17th
93 Oct 24 Reply Thanks, Ed. Do you think simplicity also create boredom? I always doubt myself about it.

93 Oct 24 Reply Yea, thanks, George. I found that it was likely a sharpening issue. It is a great reminder of how important details are in a photo. Sometimes, I get lost and edit quickly for production instead of perfection. Thanks, George! Oct 17th
93 Oct 24 Reply Thank you, Darcy! It's great to hear that you love it. In my photo, I often use balanced composition because they make the photos more stable and pleasant to look at. Oct 17th
93 Oct 24 Reply Finally, I'm back from my trip to the summit and settled down. Over the past half month, I went mountain climbing in Japan (2500 meters). Although it's not very high, it still had some difficulty. Share some photos I took later.

This photo was taken with a Nikon ZF, at F7.6, SS 1/100, ISO 100, 185mm, using a tripod. Since it was just around sunset, I think that the pink hues are from the moonrise, similar to a sunrise.

93 Oct 24 Comment Autumn is my favorite season; the interplay of yellow, green, and orange creates a beautiful scene in nature. I'm glad this photo uses a vignette to highlight the central subject, and it also gives a sense of movement that makes you want to look up. Personally, I would like to see more layers and views extending all the way to the mountain peak. Regarding white balance, I agree with Dawn and Ed that it leans a bit cool; it could be adjusted to warmer autumn tones. Good shot! Oct 17th
93 Oct 24 Comment This is the first time I've seen the moon at moonset moment, and it resembles a moonrise. Compared to the edited composition, I personally prefer the original version because it offers more layers and imaginative space; it just needs adjustments to the layers and relationships of light and shadow. The cloud shadows in front of the moon highlight it even more, as we always see it as a circle, which is basically the same. This different moon feels more vibrant and interesting. Indeed a good shot! Oct 17th
93 Oct 24 Comment The tones and atmosphere are my favorite parts. The balance of weight is also arranged very well; the distant mountains on the left and the trees on the right stabilize the photo perfectly, making it a very pleasant piece overall. If I were to take it a step further, I would try using cooler tones for the water surface, as it currently appears slightly warm. I would also enhance the texture of the lighting. Lastly, it would be even better if the foreground could be removed, though I know that's not easy. I have tried adjusting the tones, the layers of light and shadow, the lighting effects, and the composition.
It is a great shot! Love it.

93 Oct 24 Comment I really love this natural environment and hope to see more of the expansive scenery here, highlighting the magnificent landscapes and the changes in light and shadow. Similarly, if more of the sky could be included in the photos, it would give viewers more breathing space. Undoubtedly, focus stacking is a great technique. You did a fantastic job.
