Yes, the added contrast does make it pop. Nice change.

Yes. It also eliminates the asymmetrical sidewalk in the foreground. I didn't like that and the crop takes care of it. |

I like the sepia tone image. Gives it that vintage look. |

I like this image. Colors are nice and vibrant. The interaction between the two birds is spot on. Looks like you used a strobe to capture the action and to light the scene. The hard lighting is quite interesting. Sets this image apart from a typical nature photograph.
I wouldn't mind seeing more of this type of image.
On my monitor, the wings and tailfeathers of the upper-left bird are dropping-off to black. Couldn't get the detail.

The replacement of the right arm is interesting. Matches the outfit pretty closely. The color of the sleeve needs to be adjusted to better match the coat.
There seems to be blurring on the neck area. How did that come across? |

I like sepia photographs as well. They have the ability to take you back in time. For this photo, I had to wait until all the cars left the cemetery so as not to date the image.
The crop is nice. Brings a better focus onto the trees and flag. |
