Before you delete, throw it into Photoshop and play with some of the filters. You can add a nice "painterly" effect to the image. You might find something that you like. |

The leading lines were what caught my attention. It was as if the tree was shouting "Hey, look at me!" as we walked by. |

Thanks. Glad to be a part of this group. I was lucky with this image. I have a tendency to shoot really tight on the subject. This time I had a bit of wiggle room when cropping. |

I too am pleased with the amount of detail in this image. The lighting was perfect for photography. It was mid morning and the clouds were coming in and getting ready for rain. Was able to get a few good photographs in before the rain came down. Then it was a battle between getting some good shots and keeping the camera dry. |

I would try to get a bit more detail from the highlights in the bow of the boat and the water. I do like how the boat is sailing into a pure white sky. The quasi-ghostly crew and the translucent American flag are nice features. |

Nice image, Jamie. Very serene and peaceful. I am thinking that removing that top band of clouds and a bit of the grass helps bring focus to the sunset. What do you think? |

Fantastic photograph of the robin. Much better crop. I would even crop it closer to the bowl of the birdbath. Those brighter gold tones are pulling my eye towards the bottom of the frame. |
