Hi Pinaki, Thanks for your thoughts. I had not considered Black and White, in part because the colours appealed to me. I will think about your suggestion.
Much appreciated, Rick |

Hi Bruce, Lovely environment. I quite like the overall scene. I wish there was a bit more sky so that the hill near the right edge of the scene had a bit more "breathing" room at its peak. It might be my aging eyesight, but the white tower on the island seems to be tilting ever so slightly to the right. With the tower and its reflection in the water together want to be an exclamation point in your composition. |

Hi Pinaki, Very "COOL" image in a positive sense.
Great composition. Wonderful colour. Well done! |

Hi Michael, I actually like the composition of your original image the best.
I also agree with the notion of considering a Black and White edit . . . even though the intense blue is pretty powerful. There are probably lots of options for cropping.
All in all, a very compelling scene. |

Hi Bob, I really appreciate your composition of the edges of branches juxtaposed to one another. This is a great reason to either tilt your camera off of horizontal or to purposely crop on an angle. I am not sure you did either of my assumptions above, but your image is great. |

Hi Bob, I like the idea of your mirror getting old!
The original photo included a street that is on a slope.
As much as I wanted to include the street, I just could not enjoy or justify the scene's composition with the slightly angled street as part of the composition.
In this case, the shape of my photo was designed as part of an overall digital presentation where every image has the same aspect ratio of 1200 X 1920 pixels. |

Hi Ken, I am going to have to enjoy a train ride to really appreciate the constraints you face with your images. Are you standing between train cars or are you in a window seat with a window opened or closed? The only thing I can suggest is that you consider, if possible, holding your camera level front to back and side to side . . . or adjusting the geometry of the scene in post processing. To my aging eyes, it appears that the tree trunks are slightly tilting to the left, but maybe that is their natural state. In any event, it is a great scene. |
