Hi Robert, I appreciate your response and challenge.
In a way, the overall image introduces asymmetry by combining multiple symmetrical composites. I will think more about your suggestion and maybe try to deal with it down the road. In the meantime, you got me thinking about potentially flipping the positioning of a future image.
In the mean time, here's to a Happy, Healthy, and Safe New Year ahead! |

Hello Pinaki,
Great scene . . . a good use of a wide angle lens. |

Hi Kenneth,
In response to your question about enhancing the sharpness of scenes from moving trains . . . did you take advantage of your camera's minimum shutter speed that appears to be 1/3200 of a second? Given your apparent distance away from the point of interest, a faster shutter speed would be my first suggestion. If you find that the resulting amount of noise is bothersome, you can then take advantage of current state of the art noise reduction software.

Hello Robert,
Fascinating image with a compelling description.
Relative to your "significant change" . . . I am wondering if you perhaps compressed the geometry of the lower third of the scene relative to its ratio and proportion. . . or extended the geometry of the upper two thirds of the scene . . . or a bit of both? |

Hi Pinaki,
Your 3 questions are all excellent and should be considered by each beholder.
The objective of my image is to celebrate symmetry by employing a single image in a way that extends the frame of the scene in a balanced way. For me, there are multiple "central points" that occur at each vertical axis of symmetry.
Can you define the differences between a story and a narrative? I am eager to learn. |
