Hello Haru,
I appreciate your thoughtful comments.
It is interesting how different aspect ratios can affect one's viewing experience.

Hello Bruce,
Happy New Year to you as well!
It is always a challenge to follow Robert's comments. :)
Personally, it my case, I also love the foreground with the tracks leading one's gaze. I would have liked to see a vertical format shot, revealing the tops of the structures with more sky. Your image respects and reflects the horrendous history you describe. Thanks so much for sharing.
Best, Rick |

Hello Kenneth,
Happy New Year!
I agree with Robert's comments. While I don't know what you have cropped out from the original image, it is the kind of scene useful for playing with Photoshop's relatively new Generative Artifical Intelligence feature of "Outpainting". . . where you can use the crop tool to expand the scene and let Photoshop provide you with optional added contexts without any prompts or with text prompts. The thing is that once you do that, it is arguably no longer a photograph, but rather a mixed media piece.
Best Regards, Rick |

Hi Robert,
Wow . . . very impressive scene. I also appreciate your description.
While it is true that there are no absolutely perfect images, I am liking it so much, I cannot immediately think of suggestions for improvement. I could see the potential of various cropping formats from square to vertical to an extended horizontal image.
The is the kind of seen where you could play with a distorted ratio and proportion.
OK . . . I just thought of what I would have personally done . . .
I would have titled your image "Three Wise Women"!
Cheers, Rick |
