About the tilt, perhaps tilting it ominously out of line might make it more eerie. |

I looked it up here. There are lots of options. I ordered some note card and some greeting card sizes. My wife really likes some of my images, so now I can make cards for her. |

Thank you, Wes. I think my granddaughter on the right is trying to say she does not know my other granddaughter, with her funny face. |

Thank you, Diana. They are 11 and 12 now, and starting to change into their pre-teen years. |

I have sometimes printed note cards from my color work for my wife. But the regular paper is hard to write on the backside. What paper do you use, and where do you order it from? Or do you use a service that prints you image for you? |

I had not noticed that because her face is so much the center of the image, but yes you could lighten the hand a bit now that you point it out. |

Wow, so much better. Now her skin matches the pose and the fantasy perfectly. |

I like the shot you got, and Tom's suggested crop is a good variation on it.
I am wondering about the contrast between the old and new buildings. Perhaps the new building is not quite working. I tried looking at just the old building, but that great tree jutting up makes it hard to work with just the old building. |

This is a perfect pose, Tom. Although the colors in the original are interesting, your switch to monochrome brings all the attention to the dancer's intense facial expression. Since you have only the top of him, I think you chose well to vignette him. I can't see anything to improve. |

You did an impressive amount of work on this image, and the result is excellent.
I often do reflections, but mostly in architectural images. I had never thought about doing it for a figure, but this is quite successful.
As to the ripples, I like them as they are, making this a surrealistic image. |

Nice job what you did with the background. It would have been distracting to use the actual background.
My daughter and her daughter both ride like this. Your subject has good form, and is looking 30 feet ahead, just right. |

Extremely interesting, the story of going to a professional model photo shoot. Sounds like this one was very successful. You also did a lot of work to compose your final image.
Sure, you could use a little more definition on the tail feathers, but that is not where my eyes go. They go to the face of the model. Her calm and steady gaze, head very erect, is well posed, and she projects well, perhaps an experienced model and or actor.
But her complexion is not good, and it is very noticeable that she is not a magical ice maiden. |

I think this is great. As you know, I like regions of full black in images. So your small area of full black is just fine. I recall from some study that a full range from pure white to pure black was a good result, and you have that here.
Other plusses here are that the street curves away in mystery. It is empty of people, which I much prefer.
I like the street lamps and the few lighted windows, but not the one on the lower right. I find it a bit distracting with its bright spot. All the other lit windows are fully lit behind curtains. |

Looks good to me. The fall color is in the light that suffuses the scene as much as in the trees. I like that some of the trees are more advanced, as it tells the story of the annual life cycle of trees. It's also appropriate for there to be shadows under the bridge. Are you going to keep visiting this site as the years go by? |

Fascinating idea to leave the clock tower tilted. It gives a successful surrealistic effect, especially with that ominous sky right out of the Orson Wells Jane Eyre film. What was the focal length of your lens? It looks very wide. |

Actually very impressive with the over-saturation. I think that is a creative success with this image.
I don't have any problem with the reflections.

Very capable shot with the iPhone, bringing out the details in this low-light place. My own shot there years back was not nearly so good.
You can see that the columns and capitals do not match. As our guide told us on our tour, that meant that they were all reused from former structures. |
