I have a ton of slides and I have no idea how to convert those. Sadly, equipment is not available and professional conversion facilities charge like hell. All the best. |

Hello Ally. I love this image. Even though it is a documentary image, the dynamic sky adds an extra dimension to this image, raising it above any run-of-the-mill documentary shot. I agree with Melissa, the curb should be removed. I would suggest a 16:9 crop. Please check the geometry of the image as it appears to be tilted to the right of the frame. |

Hello Nancy. This is a good record shot of a building which from your description, appears to be some sort of heritage building. Personally, I would have loved to have a local walking past the building, which may add some dynamic character to the image. |

Hello Lisa. Thank you for sharing your beautiful image. There is not much to say about this. I believe documentation was your main goal, and that is beautifully achieved. |

Hello Melissa! This is a nice image. Considering the harsh sunlight, can you please try a black-and-white version of it? Somehow, the image also appears soft on my screen. I am not sure if it is so. I would also get rid of the two smaller buildings on the right by cropping. |

Death is always heavy on our hearts and more so when innocent lives are lost, no matter what colour of skin they have, which religion they belong to or to which corner of the world they live. This is more of a documentary image and I hope that was the intention of the artist. Maybe, a little more separation oof
the memorial from the background wall can be tried. |

Thank you Tom and Zhu for your kind appreciation.
@Tom, this is on the way to Bum La Pass and it does remain under snow during the morning. So travellers are not allowed to travel. hence I missed the best light. |

Thank you Nigel for accepting my comment in a good brotherly spirit. If you have access to the location, you can try taking an image of the statue lying down on the ground in front with the camera facing straight up. That is one angle I would have tried personally using an ultra-wide angle lens.

Sorry, this is not working for me. I am not sure what the artist wants to convey and what story is being told, if any. I completely agree with Mike, there are too many distracting elements and the angle of view makes the image very flat. |
