Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
12 Dec 25 Comment Bunny - This is where I love having a title included with the image and believe that it just strengthens the image. Members in my camera club have an ongoing debate over providing image titles to judges in advance of the actual competition night.

Not sure if you had a little room on the right to create a bit more space...maybe not. I love the background creating a frame around the protestors. Nicely composed.

12 Dec 25 Comment When I chose this as my topic I was focused on the political landscape and protests happening throughout the country. I love seeing the broader interpretation of the topic. Your image shines a light on the lack of education or outright lack of care and intentional dangerous practices that threaten marine life and other wildlife. The inclusion of the beach with seaweed and "driftwood" adds an element emphasizing death. I might crop out the blue area as it pulls my eye away from the seal. However, maybe not as it adds a sense of where the seal came from. Dec 10th
12 Dec 25 Comment Carole - What a great interpretation of the theme! I am very familiar with autoimmune diseases, as I have a few myself...I like the crop as it definitely removes distractions from the background and directs the viewer's focus to you and the pump. In addition to challenging the norm that chronic disease should be invisible, you look great and challenge many people's preconceived notions about what people with chronic illnesses "look like" and/or act like. As I said alongside my image, I see this theme as one where the image telling a story or sending a message is more important than the technical details. Dec 10th
