12 Jan 25 Comment The warthog is very sharp and I, too, like the glint of color in her eye. I might try to tone down the rock she is standing using a mask in LR and crop us from the bottom a bit to above the smaller embedded rocks. I like Bunny's though about a tight crop filling the space with the face. She certainly knows how to strike a pose! Jan 17th
12 Jan 25 Comment I love this Nancy. A couple of suggestions...I might have darkened the the small girl and the man second from the right a bit more to become true silhouettes. I also might play with the contrast and/or dehaze sliders to make the lighter colored fish more distinct. The only other suggestion is to remove the fish that are cut off on the right and left edges.

12 Jan 25 Comment Ally - you are spot on with the eyes - tack sharp and intense. They pull you into the subject. I like the edit to blur and soften the background as the leopard spots with the branches is very busy. I think I prefer less saturation of the leopard which would still stand out with the more subtle background. Nice job! The other image I considered submitting this month was a close up of an Amur Leopard in black and white. Jan 17th
12 Jan 25 Reply Thank you Connie. I had some other images but settled on this for the very factors you mention. I did like Carole's suggested edit for the background. Interestingly, recently took social media photos for a men's lacrosse team indoors (with an inadequate background provided) so played around with LR background masks to darken the background to eliminate distractions behind the player(s). It worked so well and really to focus the viewer on the players (subject). I never though to apply a background mask for this image to mute the background. Jan 17th
12 Jan 25 Reply Thank you Bunny, and welcome to the group. They are almost so ugly that they are cute, and they have such personalities. Jan 17th
12 Jan 25 Reply I had another image I was going to use, but this had a story. :)
The image was very sharp - you can see the hairs on their heads...I do like your edit.
