I love the feeling that behind us is a ship whose crane is suspending this box over the, somewhat, turbulent water. The girl's mask add a necessary anonymity and the whole is a beautifully constructed fantasy. Thank you. |

Very good effect using this technique. The red is a bit overwhelming, but a good colour. Perhaps if you faded the red off at the edges it would help bring the eye to the yellow at the centre, |

I love the concept of the bird dragging the canyon off with it. The left side shows the tearing and dragging of reality as it gives up this piece of earth. I agree Nadia's frame helps. Well done. |

Thank you, Ian. I enjoy the challenge of these things - keeps the dementia at bay! |

It's a technique I use quite a lot. I think (on the whole) keeping figures anonymous adds mystery and power. Recently I heard a camera club judge say he preferred people coming towards him. Oh well! |

The portrait format is just right for this. I love the background and you have balanced flash and daylight really well. I'd be surprised if this doesn't;t do well in competition. |

The figure is in the perfect place, the line of the dune at his feet leads the eye into the rest of the composition. He looks as if he is stood on a hard standing platform of some sort. If so it slightly spoi;s the wilderness aspect. But a great picture, nonetheless. |

A clear and interrelated juxtaposition of natural and man-made elements. The trees make a good frame that leads the eye in. IR gives it all an otherworldly feeling. |

I like the way you have caught the rain and the composition you have chosen. A fine record of 'crazy' people doing their thing. |

I'm afarid I'm not taken with this picture. I see what you are getting at, but feel the pose is awkward - partly because of the angle you have taken it from - and does not flatter this young dancer. I think the point about the shoes could be better made with a closer framing of her legs and feet. But then, photographs mean different things to all of us, so take no notice of me. |

You have caught the texture of the snow, which is not easy to do. There are many downsides to heavy snow but one upside is its pictorial qualities, of which you have taken good advantage. |
