I like this, but I'm afraid the colours of the original are more to my taste. |

This is fantastic, Joan. The blend is perfect, and I like the way you have kept the tiger's ears. Really shows the lineage of the household cat. I like that you have kept a sort of 'domestic' background. |

I like the way the three figures echo one another in their posture. Good that the foreground figure is in the darkest clothes, and there is interest in the three different hats. I have said before, you have a good eye. One thing I would remove is the pipe that seems to impale the furthest figure. Once seen, it really stands out and spoils what is a terrific picture. Also, as usual, I'd like more contrast. |

A great character shot that carries a lot of drama. I'm not bothered by the lightness of the hand - yes, that's what one sees at first, but it then leads the eye to the face, which is the heart of the picture. However, I agree with Maude about the distraction of the light parts of the background, which could be, perhaps, darkened down. Great mood picture. |

Definitely a really good picture of juicy gossip going on. I have never visited the museum but see it can be a great source of good material. Good choice of monochrome in keeping with he era depicted. |

I love this. The crop has placed the horse in just the right place, albeit it's 'smile' is a bit sinister (I think). About the background - it needs something - perhaps a single figure, just to balance everything. |
