18 Aug 25 Comment Very skilfully executed but, I'm afraid, it really doesn't work for me. It could be a flowery sphinx, but other than that I don't get it. Sorry. Aug 24th
18 Aug 25 Comment This is excellent. I love the way the right hand horse is partly clipped by the frame. This is unsettling and echoes the expression of the other horse, It asks for the imagination to go to work and has the same sort of quality as prehistoric cave paintings. Aug 24th
18 Aug 25 Comment First the picky bits; I would put the two halves closer together and in line, on a plain background; the one you have now detracts from the picture - which is excellent. I love the misty, slightly out of focus, treatment which gives a dream like quality. And with the girl not there in the first part of the dream and then suddenly there, but moving away, it is unsettling and puzzling at the same time. A picture to think upon, done well. Aug 24th
18 Aug 25 Comment You have transformed an ordinary photograph into something very dramatic. Is it the train to or from Hell? There's definitely a story there. Aug 24th

99 Aug 25 Comment The figure is vital -otherwise this would be just a plane. However, with the figure we have another character in the story; is he picking up something from the plane? Is he meeting someone? Doing a runner? I doubt he's the pilot who, probably, wouldn't leave the plane with the engine running. So many story lines in one picture. Aug 24th
99 Aug 25 Comment I like the symmetry of this photograph which helps to emphasise the tracery of the structure. The head on point of view adds drama, with the city buildings behind adding another layer of interest, with the sky as a perfect backdrop. The people are important showing how they are dwarfed by the bridge. Aug 24th
99 Aug 25 Comment People don't dress up anymore to visit the gallery! Her expression seems to indicate that her mind is elsewhere. You have caught a beautiful candid moment. I'm not sure why you have toned the figure differently to the surroundings. I find it a distraction. Nontheless a good photograph. Aug 24th
99 Aug 25 Comment This is a lovely photograph. The arrangement of the stem is very pleasing, with the one open flower facing us. The toning matches the subject perfectly and I really like the burnt edge frame that gives the picture class. Aug 24th
