18 Jan 25 Comment A creative use of the warp. You have made an amusing and interesting little story here. Jan 21st
18 Jan 25 Reply Welcome. I have never explored brushes properly. Did you make these yourself? A cracking image perfect for a greetings card. Jan 21st
18 Jan 25 Comment I'm not a fan of the twirl filter. I like the impressionism of original no. 2 which is great. I think by using the twirl you have overworked this one. Jan 21st
18 Jan 25 Comment I echo the views about the quality of compositing. First rate job. As far as I am concerned you have created a picture of something that wasn't there in real life. That's creative enough for me. Jan 21st

99 Jan 25 Comment I think the man in the top right is watching a building burn down while his mate packs up ready to go home. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it! You seem to be wedded to this pale sepia effect. I think this type of reportage shot is better in proper black and white and (as Barbara suggests) with a little more contrast. Also you could lose the loop of hose on the left. Great shot. Jan 20th
99 Jan 25 Comment An interesting portrait with a good background that is suited. The whole thing looks like an old newspaper photo. No disrespect to Caitlin but the newspaper story could be about a woman who poisoned her husband/lover or someone. So there's a good story in this. There is one slight problem - your selection of her hair is too clean and she looks (in that part) stuck on. Jan 20th
99 Jan 25 Comment I get the Zen bit, but (for me) the lower twig and bud, which are a bit out of focus, detract from the visual impact. Good separation from the background. Jan 20th
99 Jan 25 Comment I love this technique. It gives such an unearthly, ghostly quality of light. Trees respond very well to this form of lighting and you have done a good job. It's fun to do in graveyards too. Jan 20th
