A good black and white subject! A terrific pattern of line. It needs the fence to break up the regularity of the pattern and introduce some tension. I think darkening the wall at the bottom right would stop it being a distraction.

Excellent view of this bridge. The panoramic treatment has produced some distortion which, I think, suits your interpretation. The vignette concentrates attention on the subject and, whilst I like the antique look, I'd like to see in black and white. |

The pleasure on the man's face is infectious, but clearly his beast is not hat bothered. I agree about the background but there is little one can do t times like this. Perhaps f4 or even f2.8 would have been better. |

The wide format suits this shot. Perhaps the interest is too central, it needs another boat on the right hand side since the man and his dog are too small in the frame. I assume the slight mistiness in the distance is partly the result of blending the two images. It suits, but there is one ghost boat between the two at the left, that is distracting. Reminiscent of estuary scenes in my area. |

You have caught the plume of water at just the right moment. I like the contrast between the white of the falls and the darker promontory to the left. You have kept detail in both the light and dark parts and chose a very good viewpoint. |

Obviously you had a vision in mind for this photo, and the work you put into creating it is flawless. But I'm left unmoved. I don't know why but I din't find this visually pleasing. Perhaps if the windmill were lighter it would stand out more and introduce more contrast. It is certainly well done. |
