Than you Butch for your kind words. And many thanks for your advice, which has been a great help in making my pictures better. You are right that this picture could be cropped more. Having made these changes the photo became stronger. |

I made this photo in the beginning of spring, the grass was a pale green color. You are right that the picture could possibly be cropped even more. |

Thank you Roy! This shot wase made from a blinding hide, the fox was not visible much due to the grass. |

The feathers of the bird are fantastic. It is unfortunate that the lights weren't favorable. These " aigrettes" look better in direct or backlight. Your black and white version in January 2025 felt better to me. |

You made this shot at the right moment of this adorable chick Roy! The crop is absolutely perfect. During the developing you should watch out for artificial byproducts when doing sharpening. In Topaz Sharpen AI there is a standard mode to avoid this. |

You made this photo at a most fortunate moment. As you are telling a story, this shot is good for a nature competition.
With the crop you should take care not to cut the feet and tail of the right bird. For a competition the amount of darkening done to the background would not be allowed. |

I am jealous that you could photo a waxwing. This is one of my favorite birds. Unfortunately they can be rarely seen here, only once in a blue moon. The picture's quality corresponds to the shooting's circumstances. For denoising I would use the AI denoise function of Lightroom. This causes no artificial byproducts, like in Roy's developed version. |

This is a very nice photo of a loon. I personally would lighten only the subject in Lightroom. In Roy's version the "aura" surronding the bird feels unnatural. |
