What an amazing nest Julia! I agree with the others concerning the pine cone. |

You caught it in the right moment. I agree with the changes of Butch's cropped version. I suggest removing this dry leaf, and leaving a bit more space before the bird. |

Thank you Butch for showing these wonderful birds. Birdwatchers found one in Hungary last winter on the Great Plain among gray cranes. |

Excellent capture Roy. However, I think that is too little space in the right side. Therefore I like Kathleen's crop the best. On the subject of personal preference: I noticed that you like making narrow cropping, and that's not every jury cup of tea. |

Phenomenal action photo Peter! I like that water drops are a little bit moving with 1/1600 sec. Perhaps I would have put the bird a bit closer to the right side. |

This is a fantastic photo Kathleen. Its eyes seem to see through you. I am jealous that you could have met with this wonderful bird! |

This is a male European Stonechat. I enjoy taking photos in back light. |

Thank you Butch! I had to shot with open aperture to take round "bokeh". That is why the tail is blurred. |
