This is one of my favorite birds.I like the iridescent plumage. However, I agree with the others that the head is quite near to the upper margin. If possible, you should make photos of lower angle. The brown plumage looks better with green foliage. |

Very good action photo with the reflection, and the water drops. The next time you have to, choose a lighter, more homogeneous background. |

I like the diagonal position of this great action photo too.
My only critique is that it was shot from an upper angle.I mean that was made from a safari vehicle.( Had you made it from a low angle we could have seen how the animals are fighting over you!) |

A well captured moment Kathleen! I like using zoom teleobjectives for flying birds, in order to catch the entire bird. In the original raw or jpg file were the tips of the wings present? I mean this is a little egret as its fingers are yellow. The beak is black. The great egrets have similar colors in the breeding period, but their lores are green. |

Thank you very much Butch for your kind advice, I tried the modifications based on your tips. The sky in your version begun to purple. The original sky was grey, I modified its temp in Lightroom . My Eizo monitor is recalibrated after every 200 hours.

Thank you Roy, you are right, the crow is behind the focal plane. I tried to (with Topaz Sharpen AI) selectively sharpen the crow. Thus the photo ended up being better. |

Congratulations Roy! Thank you for uploading this Roseate Spoonbill in its habitat. In Europe spoonbills are not nearly this colorful. |

Great shot Peter! The 1/6400 sec has frozen the movement. Too bad that the background is not homogenous. |
