Fantastic shot with the bird looking through the primaries. Without the green leaf the picture looks better, but for a competition we can't remove parts of the image. For a print you could make these modifications. |

Beautiful shot Julia. I like that you left more space towards the gaze of the bird. I agree with Butch with regards to the sharpness, but the sky in my calibrated monitor begins to acquire a purple hue. |

Thank you Kathleen for showing us these wonderful birds in such soft lights. To have more eye contact you can try to play a call sign from a bluetooth speaker to get their attention. |

Nice shot of a great species. We are lucky that these birds are always on the move, otherwise it would be really difficult to find them with this perfect camouflage. |

Wonderful picture with the twig that's being carried to the nest. The background is colorful and exciting. I could imagine this scene before a homogeneous background.On another note, I am sorry to say that my comment for your previous picture has disappeared. |

Thank you Roy, I wanted to demonstrate how fast the bird is moving. Even I was surprised that the wings came out blurry at 1/2000 shutter speed. |

Thank you Butch,I am truly grateful that you are always trying to help make my pictures better. In my cropped version there is more space in the direction of the movement. The bird's quick take off resulted in the wings staying blurry even at 1/2000 shutter speed. In addition, I did not originally intend to capture the movement of the wings. |
