Thank you, Lance.
Going abstract on this might have been very interesting.

Hi Michel,
This is an impactful image.
I thought lightening the shadows in the foreground building might enhance its prominence. So, I took the liberty of trying.
There is a protrusion on the upper right of the building that gives the impression the image is not straight. But, the grid suggests it is. |

Hi Clark,
This is a beautiful capture. Is it infrared?
I agree it does look like it is floating in space. But, if that was your vision, it worked! |

Hi Lance,
This is a pleasingly rugged composition.
A agree the full border as is does not enhance the image. But, the pencil thin border at the bottom does. |

Thank you, Michael.
I am looking for ways to improve this image and will add your suggestion to my areas of focus. Perhaps I can recover detail by a local adjustment. For me, that is usually selecting the area and editing as needed. Tedious, but may be rewarding!
I am still trying to learn Nik Silver Efex local adjustments. |

Hi Don,
This is a very peaceful image. I can hear the quiet.
That tree limb leads me right into the image. You did a great job burning and dodging to get the excellent tone! |

Hi Adi,
I really appreciate your capture of the mood and relationship between the trees, sky and rocks. Brightness in the lower left is a bit distracting for me. Perhaps reducing the brightness for that small corner, or cropping a bit from the bottom would enhance focus on the other elements.
The silvery appearance of the rocks is amazing! |

Hi Michael,
Attached, please find my edit.
I use Photoshop Elements because I do not care to have a subscription program. In PSE, I selected the "subject" and it nicely selected the chair and pigeons. Feathered the selection by 2 px and after autosmart fix (which seemed helpful this time; but is not always) reduced highlights(~-6) and increased mid-tone contrast ~6) using slider.
I then inverted the selection to capture the background and pretty much repeated the process adjusting only the background where after auto smart fix, I decreased highlights and also reduced mid-tone contrast slightly. Final adjustment was a tiny bit of levels at .97.
I hope this was helpful. It's a really nice image. |

Yes. I will do this when I return. I am traveling now to my son's graduation without camera or computer! |

This image has lovely composition.
It might benefit from less brightness and more mid-tone contrast. Also removing distractions (?shoes) along the edges would keep attention on the flock.
Nice spur of the moment shot! |
