That's a perfect reason to always take the shot when it catches your eye. You never know if it will be there when you come back. |

Thanks Peter, great tip! Not sure why I didn't think of that but I'll certainly remember it now. |

Thanks for your comments Ella, I'll certainly see if I can increase the contrast. That's the problem with these dark grey days, hard to increase the contrast without blowing out the whites and blacks. |

Ella,
That's a classy image of a classy car! I think the three-quarter view is perfect for car photography. The cobblestone street adds historic texture that compliments the car. Overall, a very nice capture.
I like the blur in the background, and it definitely puts the spotlight on the car, but I think it could be lightly blended a bit more along the sharp edges of the drive and structure behind the car. Just my two cents worth. |

Another great powerboat capture! Not much more I can say as this is just as nice as the others. Makes for a great portfolio.
If I had done anything different, I might have cropped a little tighter on the left side. Just to emphasize the chase. |

That little white church just glows under the night sky, love the sweeping northern lights. Almost a surreal dreamy feel to the capture.
Nice composition and I know that you mention halo removal but it appears, on my low-resolution version, that there is a subtle halo across the roof and steeple. Easily fixed if there is. |

Nice one John! I like the texture clash going on - rough rock, rusty metal and that scuffed-up white panel in the middle. Kind of a "found art" feel, like an urban relic. |
