31 Feb 25 Reply Hi Susan, thanks for the comments. I don't usually have borders on my prints, I've only added one here to offset from the black background. Feb 24th
31 Feb 25 Comment Hi Ella,

What a fun photo! A perfect natural frame for the building in the background. The texture and patterns created by the perforated metals and structure are fantastic.

31 Feb 25 Comment Hello Susan,

A minimalist but powerful composition, the tree is well-positioned, and the high-key exposure emphasizes the delicate branches. I haven't dabbled in high-key photography but your beautiful photo is certainly making me want to try.

Nice dynamic composition, I like how the converging lines of the seawall, steps and flowing water draw the eye towards the center of the image. The contrast between the smooth, misty water and the rough, rigid texture of the stone walls justifies the long exposure. Amazing what we'll go through to get a photo isn't it?

31 Feb 25 Comment Hello Peter

Rough terrain, weathered walls and stormy skies, what more could you ask for? Great image, I bet you were excited to see the light break out. Sometimes we need a little luck to be in the right place at the right time.

31 Feb 25 Comment Lovely capture John, I really like the curve and leading line of the seaweed. The rocks and shells add to this natural still life. Feb 16th
31 Feb 25 Reply Thanks Peter, I'm definitely drawn to minimalistic landscapes and there's no better place than Iceland and their churches. Feb 16th
31 Feb 25 Reply Thanks for the comments John! Feb 16th
31 Feb 25 Reply Thanks Ian! The history of Iceland and the Vikings is amazing and to settle an island like this took a lot of tenacity. Feb 16th
31 Feb 25 Reply Thank you Ella, it definitely was a dreary day, not unexpected in Iceland. I appreciate your comments and next time I'm in that file, I'll see if the contrast can be adjusted. Feb 16th
