Thanks Ed! I can't take too much credit for the timing though, you just hit the shutter button on continuous high-speed shooting and hope you got something! :) I came home with over 8000 photos from that week. Many with the waves in various locations as they break against the rocks. |

Thank you John, the Oregon coast is beautiful, storms or no storms. |

Hi Ian,
Great abstract! So simple yet mesmerizing as the circles converge towards a vanishing point. At first, I thought it was a macro shot of two springs and was surprised to read it was lights. Very creative! |

Hello Ed,
Nothing better than a bunch of old cars! Nature at its finest reclaiming man-made objects. I've spent some time at Old Car City in Georgia so I know how tough it can be to isolate and frame these things. I think you did a great job but I agree with Peter that it might be a little tight, especially on the right-hand side. |

Hey Peter,
Man, I love the sand dunes and this is a fantastic capture! The light and shadows create a surreal abstract and the repeating curves and lines gives a sense of fluidity, leading your eye through the frame. Just stunning!
Kind of nitpicking but I might suggest removing the footprints right at the bottom of the frame. To my eye, they're distracting and don't really add anything to the story. |

Hello John
Great shot! I like the mood created by the dark, dramatic sky and the stark white of the building. Your eyes are drawn immediately to the subject. The sharp angles of the roof and tower along with the opening in the fence, creates and interesting dynamic within the photo.
Just my opinion but I think the photo needs to be leveled using the outside vertical corner of the tower, it seems to lean to the right a little. Also, everyone has a different philosophy about removing items in their photos, but I would remove the power lines. |

Thanks for the comments Ella! It was an exciting week for me, I love the storms. This was taken at Shore Acres State Park north of Bandon OR and unfortunately it suffered some road damage from the last set of storms going through earlier this month and will be closed for 6 months. |

Thanks Peter! Being mentioned along with Michael Frye is an honor! I had the pleasure of meeting him and listening to two of his presentations at the NightScaper Conference in Kanab, Utah last summer, nice guy. |
