This image is surreal. Are those all reflections? If I didn't know that it was a fresh water pond, I would have assumed it was jellyfish floating on the surface.
The image conveys a sense of relaxation. I don't mean this in a negative way, but this image would work wonders in a Dentist's office where it would calm the nerves of the patients. It draws the viewer into the image and invites him/her to stare into it and forget their apprehensions. |

Thanks for your comments. What I find interesting is the third pier. It does not look as if it is in line with the first two. I don't know the cause of the optical illusion, but all of the photos I took of the bridge have the same illusion. It maybe that I took them all from the same position.
The designers, (there are several Youtube videos about its construction) spent a considerable amount of time selecting the color of the bridge. It was their goal to make it not stand out from the sky or surrounding landscape anymore than necessary. |
