Thank you for your comments. The statue is an integral part of the lamppost.
Getting down lower on my knees was an option 15 years ago, not now. |

Nice image, but the city seems to be lost in the mountain. Perhaps more contrast would bring out the city's colors against the green mountain. |

I agree with Haru, in that I think it would benefit with more blue and less purple. His crop does bring out a leading line from the salt patches. |

I too found the image to be peaceful and calming. I agree that a slower SS could have made the water more still, but I wonder what would have happened to the water below. Would it then look simply like a donut? |

I thoroughly enjoyed this photograph. It is almost surreal. My only suggestion, albeit, minor, is to remove the branch on the right side leading into the water. But, this is a matter of personal opinion. I particularly liked the floating bits of leaf, etc. Are they in the sky or on the water? Am I looking up through a tree branch or down into the water? Hence why I found your image to be surreal. |
