Hi Maria, Instant recognition what the photo is all about. The Title is perfect, and the lead-in to the subjects confirms what its all about. Great.
The only thing I would change is the same as what Kirsti picked up on, the hook. It doesnt add to the story, and blocks the readers view through to the moon at the top. I would loose it altogether and allow the flow from title through the subjects and into the background.
The execution and concept of this composite is excellent. |

Hi Kirsti, Double exposure is a great effect if you can pull it off, and you have here. Read your comments about flatness, this comes with mist and fog pictures I am afraid, tried various methods but it is what it is. Saying that it works here, and I like it very much.
The hand bothers me somewhat, and I am not sure if it would be better with it gone. Portraits with hands are always problematic.
Apart from that - the content, story, exposure, composition are all great. Well done. |

Hi Peggy, love this. The colours, the blending, the composition all come together. Taken with it as soon as I seen it. The only difficulty I have is the the person in the photo is not so obvious, considering the title is night walk.
May need darkened or contrast increased to make it stand out. On the other hand some artists do this deliberty to make the viewer search, I have seen this work many times.
Overall a real piece of artistry. Bruce. |
