It is difficult to comment on this image because the action is very good but, as has been said, it is not easy to focus on action.
I think the second version in mono is pretty close to a good solution, because it concentrates the attention center quite well.
I recognize that I would have liked the bull's legs to be seen but also the center of interest would be lost a bit.

I also like the expressions of the faces and the processing of Carol, that further improves the image.
Only remove the bar that ends in the woman's neck on the right side, so that the photo looks "cleaner".

The second version is much better!
The detail of the plumage of the swan can be appreciated much better.
I agree that the bright area does not highlight any point of interest but in the second version is attenuated.
Good image.

The game of geometric figures and patterns is very attractive and interesting.
The theme is ideal to convert to mono.
The vignette suggested by Carol further improves it.
If I judge this photo I would put a high note.
