25 Nov 25 Reply Audrey, thank you for your comments. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Nov 27th
25 Nov 25 Comment Love the texture and color tone of the picture Bollin, I think you have achieved what you set out to create. As for the angle of the photo .... I think it fits well with the photographic styles of the era - the subject is position in the center where the audience sees first (at least my recollection of photos and painting from the early days... I could be wrong though). The texture of the wall really stands out. Nov 25th
25 Nov 25 Comment Beautiful image Brian. I really love the richness and layers of the fall foliage - a good mix of green, yellow, orange and brown. The saturation of the color is just nice (not too saturated). The man and dog adds scale and perspective to the image. Thank you for sharing! Nov 25th
25 Nov 25 Comment Jeremy, love your image! Love the creamy yellowish-green background that really compliments the color of the Kinglet. The subject is sharp and clear. Beautiful image. Nov 25th
25 Nov 25 Comment Beautiful image Eric, you said it well in your description about the angle of the shot. I wished there were a few clouds to add some visual interest to the sky -- however, that is way beyond anyone's control. Nov 25th
25 Nov 25 Comment Ruth, very nice reflection of the tree and the bridge. A tiny more contrast will make the image "pop" (like the others have suggested). Good composition, the leading line (the river) guides the audience into the image. Nov 25th
25 Nov 25 Comment Audrey, this is a beautiful image. The purple really stands out! Like the other team members commented, the diagonal rotation/crop significantly improved the composition. Like Ruth suggested, this will be a great note card. Nov 25th
25 Nov 25 Reply Thank you Michele for your comment. Appreciate it! Nov 7th
25 Nov 25 Reply Bollin, thank you for your comment. You are right, I could not get more of the claws because of the angle but also I was thinking of entering pictures in contest and the bird was resting on "man-made" material so I was trying not to show that. The "Bird and fish looking in the same direction" shot was really pure luck. I just wished it could have zoomed in better with better resolution.

55 Nov 25 Comment Hi Lori, this picture brings back memories. I love the look of your photo - the unique fall (brown) tone of your Milky Way (most photographer choose a blueish or purple tone). The brown-tint in the sky really complimented the brown rock. Thank you for sharing your unique Milky Way photo. Nov 7th

58 Nov 25 Comment Michele, this is an interesting photo and composition. The vertical crop is a good choice. I also found it puzzling to see the head of the statue cut off initially; however, on a second look, it actually add some sense of mystery - the audience have to imagine what the head of the statue looked like. I guess it is the result of camera dimension/perspective constraint. The bright attire of the girls is definitely eye catching and it stands out against the less saturated background. The tall high-rise behind the trees echoes/compliments the floral ornaments in the hair of the girls. Overall, it is a unique creation where the subjects clearly stands out. Nov 7th

69 Nov 25 Comment Hi Jaswant, I love the color tone of the picture - it gave a sense of calmness and suspense all at the same time. The sharpness and expression of the eyes is outstanding. Thank you for sharing! Nov 1st
69 Nov 25 Comment Hi Cindy, I like your post processing work. I think you did a good job with the crop and the AI extension. You brought out the contrast of the tree branches (the more vibrant golden-brown color of the branches and plant life) and the color of the bald eagle. The extra green patch of green leaves at the center lower position (AI extension?) adds an extra layer of interest to the picture. This picture does not follow the "rule of third" but you did a good job "breaking the rule".

70 Nov 25 Comment Jerry, you have a very interesting photo here. The position/orientation of the wood drawn me to the picture. However, when I look more closely, I see many simultaneous "stories/layers" in the same picture. The rocks in the distance, the mist/fog created layers and distance of the rocks in the background. The footprints and path on the right side of the image leads up to a path toward the mountains. I found this picture very intriguing; thank you for sharing! Nov 1st
70 Nov 25 Comment What an amazing picture perfect photo! It is an amazing shot as you said - a complete set of ideal landscape photo elements. The color, the sharpness and HDR look; you truly brought the fantasy land experience to the audience. Love this image! The tint of purple is just perfect.
The only thing I sensed (I could be wrong) is the horizontal line... it seems slightly off (only very sightly; the foreground sort of hinted that). Nevertheless, this is a great photo.

71 Nov 25 Comment Tom, this is a very unique picture and perspective. There are so many parallel lines that create a great deal of visual interest. It has a HDR feel to it; very nicely done! Nov 1st
