25 Jun 24 Reply Hi Audrey, these Milky Way shots has a shutter speed of 25 second (manually set it in the camera). If longer than 25 seconds, the stars will start to "trail". According to my friends who are seasoned photographers, they suggest 25 second exposure to be the best. Hope this answers your questions. Jun 17th
25 Jun 24 Reply Thank you Bollin. It was trial and error. We got to the site around 7pm setting up our gears and figured out the best setting and focal length. The camera and lens were set on Manual mode (infinity for the lens, the wider the better. I could only shoot at 24mm due to lens limitation). Ideally, a 14-16 mm focal length would be much better... The sky got dark around 9:30pm, it was pitch dark... we tried not to move our camera and setting since 7pm.... I hope this answered your questions. Jun 15th
