Wow, great image, talk about powerful leading lines. My eyes kept looking throughout the image for more details like the round building in the upper right and the changing textures of each floor of the building. The black top floor against the lighter sky kept pulling my eyes back in and up. |

Thank you for your impressions and trying to see how it could be presented differently. I went for the minimalist look after trying to make this flower on a vine close to a very busy undergrowth background work. |

Elise, Thanks, and I agree it seems to float in too much negative space. It's not an infrared image, but I think I am tilting toward editing my images for that hard contrast look. |

Michael, Excellent suggestion to add a border. I haven't been doing this to my images, but I can see how it would pull in the viewers focus back into the image instead of letting it drift off. |
