Emil, I love the interiors of old churches like this and I like how you captured the interior. I like the suggestion Pete made about the crop. While I like the top of the image, it pulls you away from the looking at the ceiling painting in the center of the image. Seems like to me the lines created by the pews are not strong enough pull you away from the top of the image. Below is my version of the crop and I also removed some of the distracting lights. Thanks for sharing. |

Michael. Very nice image. I like the perspective you gave to the ice especially with the wide angle lens you are using. I do like Pete's approach to the image because it really makes the ice stand out from the rest of the image. |

Thanks Michael. I like the crop and the gradient. That has given me some ideas to try. |

Thanks Pete. I have been following Jamie R Mathlin on YouTube who does a good job of showing how he changes a daylight scene into a night scene. It is a lot of fun giving it try. |

Adrian, I understand what you were trying to accomplish with the crop but I think if you added some background, it may give the viewer more context. I tried a different crop to see how it would look. I did remove the bicyclist and the person on the other side of the road. I didn't feel these added to the image. I did include some of the city so it give the person of in the image something to look to compliment the soccer ball. |

Thanks for the feedback Emil. I do have some radial gradients on the walls to give the effect of the light spilling on to the wall. I could light them area up more to give it more light spill. I like the changes you made. You have given me some ideas to try. |
