Thanks Adrian. After the comment about the rocks being too dark, I went back and adjusted that area. I do like the adjustment to the image. In LrC, I used the new Select Landscape mask feature which made it really easy to select the rocks in the image. |

That is a good idea Michael. The image was shot at 1/100 sec @ ISO 400 so I may have gotten some blurring of the water if I lowered to ISO 100. Might have to explore getting ND filters. Thanks. |

Pete, you did a really great job of pulling out the detail in the image and highlighting the fisherman. Thanks for the explanation on flipping the image. I agree with you approach in that it just seems right the direction. As Michael mentioned it could use a just a tad more contrast. I took you image and adjust the White slider in Lightroom to the right to enhance the whites more. Not sure if that misses with the mood you were creating. |

Michael, I really like the subject of your image. I do agree with Adrian that a different crop would remove some of the distracting elements. I do like Adrian's crop but decided to go vertical to emphasize the tall buildings and the small size of the people in the image. |

Adrian - I like how cropped and processed the image. The image really captures the historical weight of the location and what the Allied soldiers had to endure as they landed. The cropping of the image to me really focuses my attention on the soldier and what they must have felt. The dark clouds really set the mood. Really nicely done. |

Mandy - I do like the composition you capture of the train station. I think you did a nice job of balancing the placement of the center of the image to really pull the viewer in. |

Emil - very nice image. I do like how you used the white background initially but then swapped it out for a black background. The black background really makes the flower standout. Did you have to any image stacking. Looking at your aperture setting, you have good amount of the image in focus. |

Emil - Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate your pointing out the highlights. In looking at the image in LrC, I don't see any clipping but reducing the highlights would help when I export the images. |

Pete - thank you for the feedback. Now that you highlighted the foreground, you are right. I reworked the image by reducing the brightness in the foreground and it looks better. |
