60 Apr 24 Reply Thanks, Michelle. I wish I had taken a tad more time with it re the framing (looser). The light/tones saved the pic from the dump heap! Apr 16th
60 Apr 24 Reply I love your B&W conversion. Good eye on the artifacts, guess I should have zoomed in a tad to view. I'll probably try to grab it again a tad looser at some point, and show the base. I passed by it again the other day, but the sky was totally clean and clear, and it just did not look as interesting. Thanks again. Apr 4th
60 Apr 24 Comment Great slide-of-life photo, and a very real moment. My only comment would be to see more of the window in the final image, esp at the top, and maybe lighten the room's shadow (or black). Apr 3rd

60 Apr 24 Reply Thanks, Dean. I actually don't know if any kids even use the goal, but time will tell if that's part of the story. The goal seemed a bit lonely, but the wind and cold may have kept kids away. Yes, I was in a hurry not to lose the light and to ensure I got home with the groceries before my wife found out I was goofing off. Most important would be to show the anchor, but I did not take the time. I just opened my car door and fired. I leave this camera/lens combo setting for landscape almost all the time, so I am ready for the quick grabs without any camera adjustments. Apr 3rd
60 Apr 24 Comment I love this pic. What especially struck me is that you gave the trees their full reflection. Many would give the trees some headroom and then cut top-of-tree reflection off at the bottom of the frame. I think it works better the way you cropped it. This, of course moved the horizon line up, and I think that makes it more interesting.

Both versions work, but I think the B&W is more dramatic.

60 Apr 24 Comment This is a great image. Love the colors, framing and feel. Very vintage in its look, though the truck is a tad soft on my screen. Apr 2nd
