Yes, a very interesting and unusual (at least for me) fence. Lots of different patterns in the architecture of the building. I like the angle you selected for the fence, but the center of the photo looks very cluttered with the table and chairs. For me it detracted from the overall mixture of patterns lines. |

Nice lines leading the eyes into the picture. Sharp and clear except for the clouds. There appears to be lots of noise in the top sky and nothing much of interest there, so I would crop some off the top. |

Now there's a happy smile! Great story there with the champion ribbons and the Cheshire cat smile. I can't think of anything to improve it except maybe making the people in the background less noticeable, as that's where my eyes immediately go. If entering in competition you have to be careful with that, but a slight blur or burning might help. Nice photo!! |

I have many fond memories of Niagara Falls as my first job out of college was in Buffalo, N.Y. and I met my wife there. I lived there when they first built the Skylon Tower and have been on the Maid of the Mist several times. We went back for a reunion a few years ago and went on the Maid again. Some great photo ops from there if you careful not to get too wet.
I like the vantage point you picked as it shows where all that water comes from. Do they still light up the falls with colored lights at night. That should also make a great image. |
